Travel Cancellation Request Form
As we are experiencing high call volumes, please allow up to 21 days before contacting our Guest Contact Centre about your credits/refund unless you are looking to use your credit for travel within the next 7 days.
- Please complete this form to cancel your booking immediately. Eligibility for credits or refunds will be reviewed in line with the fare rules and policies applicable to your booking and will be queued for processing.
- Virgin Australia aims to process requests for travel credits and refunds within 21 days. However, we are currently receiving a higher than usual number of requests due to the ongoing impact of border restrictions on our operation so there may be a delay in processing your request.
- If we have created a travel credit for you, you will receive an automated email with further information on how to access and use your credit. If a refund is processed, you will see that refund applied directly back to the original form of payment.
- Your fare rules can be found on the Virgin Australia website and we encourage you to review the options available to you before proceeding with this form.
- Velocity bookings paid with Points or a combination of Points plus Pay can be cancelled via this form. Different refund/credit options may apply, please visit the Velocity website to review the options available before proceeding with this form.
- If your original booking was made through a travel agent, please contact them to discuss changes to your booking. You cannot use this form to cancel your booking.
